ABOUT ME

I have been involved in the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage since 1997, obtaining a BA (Hons) degree in Conservation & Restoration from De Montfort University in my hometown of Lincoln in 2001.

Almost 30 years in the conservation profession has seen me involved in so many exciting projects along the way. My career path has took me through an exciting journey and work in the same field of conservation and collections

care with a wealth of employers:

  • National Museums Scotland.

  • Historic Scotland (Collections Management Unit).

  • Dumfries & Galloway Council.

  • Doncaster Council.

Since 2010 I have worked as a professional freelance conservation consultant on behalf of Doncaster Council. This included working with new clients, including national heritage organisations, local authorities and others.  In 2019 I decided to continue with my passion for this work and become a consultant in my own right, working with heritage clients from the surrounding region and elsewhere, using skills and knowledge that I had built up over the years and through partnership working.

My wealth of experience and attention to detail means that projects come in on time and are to a very high standard. I strive to use innovation and creative solutions on projects. Through partnership working I am able to offer a cohesive service for the long term care of both individual objects and larger public and private collections.

See more details of services that we can offer our clients by looking at our 'Services' link below.

If you are looking for something and you do not find it here, please contact me using the 'Get In Touch'  link below, I am always happy to help and advise.
